Window cleaning in Midvale, Utah
A standing storefront route on Main Street, and the homes on either side of it.
Midvale is the city where a good share of our week is commercial. Ember keeps a regular route through the historic Main Street strip, cleaning storefront glass and entry doors on a fixed rhythm — the kind of work where the point is that nobody notices it, because the windows never get far enough gone to be noticeable.
The residential side splits two ways: the older homes on the east side of the city, and the newer builds and townhomes around Bingham Junction. Different glass, different problems, same crew.
Why Midvale windows get dirty
- Storefront glass is touched all day. Hands, sleeves, strollers and dogs hit entry doors constantly, and fingerprints at eye level are the first thing a customer sees.
- Main Street sits on the road. Buildings fronting the street take traffic film straight onto the glass, and it goes grey rather than dirty — easy to stop noticing, obvious the moment it is gone.
- Older east-side homes have older windows. Single-pane sashes and painted frames hold grit in places a quick wipe never reaches.
- Bingham Junction is still filling in. New construction in and around the development keeps fine dust in the air, and it settles on the newest glass first.

Ember Plans for Midvale
A storefront and a house want different frequencies, but both want the same thing from a plan: a fixed slot so the glass never gets far enough gone to need rescuing.
- Ember BiAnnual — from $225/visit. Twice a year. Suits a sheltered east-side home away from the street.
- Ember Glow Quarterly — from $175/visit. Most Popular. Every three months with hard water removal included — the usual choice for a Bingham Junction home while construction is still nearby.
- Fire Monthly — from $145/visit. What the Main Street route runs on. Entry doors need it and it is our commercial favorite.
Pricing is based on pane count and on how many stories the building is at its tallest side — each separate piece of glass is a pane, so a window with a top and bottom section counts as two. A single-front storefront and a two-story home quote very differently for that reason. Our team confirms the figure after a look. See the full plan details.
How often should Midvale homes clean their windows?
Every six months is the baseline the window manufacturers themselves publish, and it holds for most homes here. Storefronts are the exception and always have been — glass that the public touches wants attention monthly, not twice a year. If you want the reasoning rather than our word for it, we set out what the manufacturers say.
Want it off your list?
Free quotes, usually the same day. No pressure, and nothing lands on your invoice you didn't say yes to.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to sign a contract to get my storefront cleaned?
Not for the first one. We will do the first service with no agreement in place so you can see the work and how we handle your hours. If it is a fit, storefronts move onto a 12-month agreement after that, which is what lets us hold a fixed slot on the route.
Can you clean before we open?
That is how most of the Main Street route runs. Storefront glass is best done before customers are walking through it, so we schedule around opening times rather than the other way round.
We are in Bingham Junction, not a storefront. Do you do residential here too?
Yes. The newer Bingham Junction homes and townhomes are a regular part of our residential work in Midvale, and they quote the same way any other home does — by pane count and by how many stories the building is at its tallest side.
Our building is older and the frames are rough. Will cleaning make that obvious?
Clean glass in a tired frame does stand out, so we detail the frames and sills as part of the job rather than leaving them. What we cannot do is restore paint or repair rotten wood — if we see something structural, we will tell you rather than clean around it.
