Salt Lake City window cleaning, neighborhood by neighborhood
Ember’s home base — streak-free glass across every Salt Lake City neighborhood.
Salt Lake City is where Ember is based, and it’s the heart of everything we do. It’s also the most varied city we serve — from the Victorian and early-1900s homes climbing the Avenues and Capitol Hill, to the tree-lined period homes of Yalecrest and Sugar House, to the modern view estates on the East Bench looking out over the valley. Ember keeps the glass clean across all of it, on the oldest divided-pane windows and the largest picture windows alike.
Built for Salt Lake City’s historic homes and hard water
Salt Lake City’s housing is older and more distinctive than the valley suburbs, and its glass shows it. The historic homes in the Avenues, Capitol Hill, and Yalecrest have original wood-frame windows with small divided panes that need careful, detailed hand-cleaning — not a one-size-fits-all approach. Across the whole city, Utah’s hard water leaves chalky spotting from sprinkler overspray, and the valley’s winter inversions settle a fine film of dust onto the glass. Ember handles all of it — detailed cleaning on delicate historic windows, hard water stain removal for the mineral spotting, and water-fed poles that reach the tall view windows on East Bench homes safely from the ground.

Frequently asked questions
Do you clean the original windows on older homes in the Avenues and Capitol Hill?
Yes, and we clean them with extra care. Many Salt Lake City homes have original wood-frame windows with small divided panes, and we detail those by hand rather than rushing them. Our exterior service covers the glass, frames, and sills, and we treat older windows gently.
Can you remove the hard water spots on my Salt Lake City windows?
Usually, yes. Hard water spotting from sprinkler overspray is one of the most common problems on Salt Lake windows. Light spotting comes off with our exterior cleaning; heavier mineral buildup is a separate add-on, which we’ll assess and quote before any work starts.
What does a standard Salt Lake City window cleaning include?
The base quote covers exterior glass, frames, and sills. Interior glass, screens, and tracks are available as add-ons — just ask and we’ll build them into your quote.
Which parts of Salt Lake City do you serve?
All of it — from the Avenues, Capitol Hill, and Federal Heights on the north and east, through Sugar House and Yalecrest, to the Downtown and west-side neighborhoods. If you’re inside Salt Lake City, we clean your windows.
